[Noticia] ¿CONFIRMADA FECHA DE ESTRENO DE WATCHMEN?

Pequeño variado de noticias para la serie de Watchmen que estrenará HBO en Octubre con su posible fecha de premiere además de algunos detalles más como el nombre del personaje de Regina King.

Por un lado la cuenta oficial de la serie en Instagram ha dejado caer la posibilidad de que el show estrene el próximo 20 de Octubre con una imagen de los policías vistiendo sus rostros cubiertos y de paso compartiendo unas declaraciones de Damon Lindelof.

En primer lugar el productor de la serie comentó que el show mostrará un muy estricto control de armas donde incluso la policía tendrá ciertas restricciones para portar una. No confirma que Jeremy Irons interprete a Ozymandias pero sí que será algo que sorprenda a los fanáticos, aunque es más que obvio (creemos) que sí será el mencionado personaje.

Respecto al episodio piloto dijo que será raro para todos los espectadores tanto quienes no saben nada de Watchmen como para aquellos que leyeron el material original: "Quería que Watchmen fuese accesible para todos los que no estuviesen conectados con el cómic. Creo que mi trabajo estará hecho si todos se sienten confundidos con el episodio piloto. En escala del 1 al 10 en cuanto a raro será un 10 por supuesto."

Por otro lado confirmaron que el nombre del personaje de Regina King cuando sea una vigilante será Sister Night.

@IamReginaKing's Superhero Codename Revealed! @HBO has kept its mouth tight on Watchmen, so much that they still haven't confirmed a premiere date for it! And one of the things they didn't reveal was what is the superhero codename of Regina King's character, Angela Abar, or did they?! . It seems that HBO did reveal her superhero name without anyone actually noticing! If you go to HBO.com/Watchmen and open the first picture which is a photo of Regina King (the one I'm using on this post, link in bio), the name attached to also includes her name! Are you ready?! Her name is... . Sister Night! It was rumored a while back that sister night is her codename, but now we have confirmation that it is her name! What do you think?! #WatchmenHBO

HBO's Watchmen To Premiere on October 20th?! . It seems that Watchmen might be coming on October 20! The TV Guide's Fall Preview includes an interview with @damonlindelof, who talks about the show and its world and how he was first introduced to the comics. But the biggest thing might be at the beginning of the interview, where it says: "Premieres Sunday, Oct. 20"! HBO still hasn't confirmed the date, but so far it seems to be the date! Also, some interesting things that Lindelof Revealed: 1. The world of Watchmen will include Strict Gun Controls, in a way that even the police have limited access to firearms. 2. Lindelof still doesn't want to confirm that Jeremy Irons is playing Ozymandias! But he says that their take on the character is what will surprise the comic fans the most! 3. He says that the show's pilot is going to be weird both for viewers who never read the original comics and for people who are big fans, and that is their goal: "I want Watchmen to be accessible for people who didn't have an intimate familiarity with the comic. I figured I'm probably doing my job right if everybody is equally confused by the pilot!" Lindelof says with a laugh. 4. He says that the show will continue to be weird just like the comics: "On a scale of 1 to 10, if giant alien squid is a 10, I'm going all the way for the 10.". #WatchmenHBO
